Mr. Roach was born
in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Central
Florida, attending Lake Brantley High School . He
studied political theory as an undergraduate at the University
of Chicago , where he graduated with special honors, and remained
at the University of Chicago to study law. While
at law school, he was a moot court finalist and chairman
of the law school's debate society.
Mr. Roach began
his career with a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Sidney
Fitzwater, a judge for the United States District Court of
the Northern District of Texas. After this clerkship,
he practiced law as a litigator with two Texas law firms:
Baker Botts LLP in Dallas and Berg and Androphy in
Houston .
Mr. Roach has successfully
represented commercial clients and individuals in both state
and federal court. These matters include, business
torts, products liability defense, antitrust defense, landlord-tenant
disputes, defending employers in Title VII actions, administrative
law matters, class actions, plaintiffs' personal injury
cases, as well as the criminal defense of individuals facing
felony charges in state and federal court.
